You’re welcome. I guess it must be a lot rarer where you are. Here it is everywhere. Agreed it is very attractive for such a prickly plant. It is also the national symbol for Scotland of course (they have an awful lot of it).

Ironically, I found thousands of them in a park near my home in New Orleans. I just don’t know anything about botany!
